Born and raised in rural New South Wales, Australia, I moved to Brisbane in 1994. In 1996 I won Radio B105's 'Battle of the Sexes' competition for seven days running and spent my prize money on my first SLR camera. Since then, I have worked as a freelance photographer commissioned for weddings, children's parties, black tie events, portraits, editorial photography and pet portraits. My services have been supplied to organisations such as the RSPCA Queensland , Your Pet Magazine (Australia), The Trading Post, Savills Private Finance UK and the RSPCA Photolibrary UK.

I moved to Nottingham in 2006 and live in a terraced house with my husband, his daughter and our four cats. I spend a lot of my time trying to keep my feet warm. It was never a problem in Brisbane.
